Hyperborean maidens

Three maidens from Hyperborea who were venerated on Delos as demigoddesses. They were the attendants of Artemis and are said to have introduced the worship of Artemis in Delos. Their names are given as Hecaerge, Loxo, and Upis.

Hecaerge and Loxo were also surnames of Artemis.
