Hyperippe

A daughter of Munichus, king of the Molossians, and his wife Lelanta, and the sister of Alcander, Phileus and Megaletor. During a nightly attack by robbers they fled into a tower, which the robbers set afire. Zeus, because of the family's piety, took pity on them and transformed them into birds. Hyperippe, who had jumped into the water to escape the fire, became the diver bird.
