Karika

A chief of Raumati's party killed by the young chief Hatupatu with his two-handed sword. He then cuts off Kariki's head with his whalebone mere, and grasps it by the hair, whereupon the enemy falls back and flees.

Kariki is also the name of Hatupatu's brother.
