The earth goddess of the Bateg (Batek) of Peninsular Malaysia. She makes talain,
thunderstorms accompanied by welling up of water from under the earth involving the destruction of the houses of those who have offended the deities. She is the wife of Jawait. Lai-oid wears beautiful clothes.
