Mahi-rua

"Double work." The name of a messenger sent by Ue-nuku to consult the oracles. He found Pawa the priest roasting a fish (a barracouta). Pawa held the fish up to Mahi-rua, and he fell dead, but the priest afterwards brought him to life again.
