Mhorag
The name of a monster said to inhabit the 300 meter deep Loch Morar. The first recorded sighting is from January 1887, and it appeared to be more like a mermaid or kelpie, rather than a Nessie-like animal. Later descriptions make the Mhorag between 20-30 feet in length, dark gray or brown, with a rough skin, and a flat, snakelike head.
