Paka
The son of Hotu-nui (the chief of the Tainui canoe), and his second wife, the sister of Te Whatu. Paka married the eldest daughter of Te Whatu, and had a celebrated daughter, Kāhu-rere-moa. Paka'a brother-in-law was Mara-tūahu.
