A surname of Hera in connection with marriage. At Hera's temple of Plataea stood a large image, made of Pentelic marble, of Hera Teleia. It was made by Praxiteles. It also contained an image of Hera the Bride, made by Callimachus.1 Another temple of Hera Teleia stood at Megalopolis in Arcadia.2
