Tūtānekai

A young chief of Rotorua, the illegitimate son of Tū-whare-toa and Rangi-uru. He was celebrated as the lover of the beautiful Hine-moa. His elder brothers are Tawake-heimoa, Ngarara-nui, and Tūtea-iti. His sister Tupa married Tiki, Tūtānekai's bosom friend.
