vlkoslak

The Serbians call the vampire and the werewolf by one name, vlkoslak. They are most active in the depths of winter when they hold their annual gatherings. They divest themselves of their wolf-skins and hang them on the trees around them. A person who succeeds in obtaining and burning a skin will end the enchantment.
