Yara-meng

A white sky goddess, who is very aged, just skin and bones. When she gets too old, her granddaughter Jamoi rejuvenates her by sprinkling the sap of wild ginger (beurn) leaves on her. Yara-meng is the intermediary of the gods and accepts the sacrifices of blood that the people throw into the sky during thunderstorms.
