Balius

"Dapple." The immortal horses Balius and Xanthus were the children of Podarge and Zephyrus. They were first gifted to the hero Castor by Hera. Later Poseidon gave them to Achilles' father Peleus as a wedding present. During the Trojan War, Balius and Xanthus drew the chariot of Achilles.
