Cilix

A son of Agenor and Telephassa. He and his brothers Cadmus and Phoenix were sent out by their father in search of Europa, who had been carried off by Zeus. They were told not to return without their sister, and as Europa was not to be found, Cilix settled in the country which derived from him the name of Cilicia. He is mentioned the father of Thasus and Thebe.

Cilix and his brothers are known as the Agenorides.
