Hine-ahu-papa

The first wife of Rangi-pōtiki, one of the Props of Heaven. She is by him the mother of various sky divinities: Tū-nuku, Tū-rangi, Tama-i-koropao, and Haronga. Her grandchildren are the sun, Rā, and the moon, Marama.
