Hine-kapua

The "Cloud Maid," one of the principal forms of clouds, a daughter of Tāne and Hine-ahu-one. The numerous Cloud Children dwell within their house known as Ahoaho-o-Tukapua, which is in the realm of Vātea. They often venture forth to roam on the vast breast of Rangi, the Sky, where they are frequently attacked and harried by the Wind Children, who disturb the serenity of the Cloud Maid and her young relatives.
