Kári

"Wind." In Fundinn Noregr, Kári appears as the son of the Fornjótr, and brother of Hlér, and Logi and Kári. Hversu Noregr byggðist adds that he commanded the winds. He was the father of Jökull ("Glacier"), who was the father of Snær the Old ("Snow"). Snær had a son, Þorri ("Frozen snow"), and three daughters, Fönn ("Snowdrift"), Drífa ("Snowfall") and Mjöll ("Powdered snow"). Kári's son Jökull is called Frosta ("Frost") in Fundinn Noregr.
