Moyang Bertang
The malevolent moon, husband of the moon goddess Kundui. He is the enemy of mankind and is constantly knotting strings together to make nooses wherewith to catch them. The only reason why he fails is because some pitying mice are biting through the strings.
The dark spots on the moon are said to be a tree beneath which sits Moon-man.
