Pheres
A son of Jason and Medea, brother of Mermerus. They were both killed by their mother at Corinth. According to another tradition, she left behind her children, who were still infants, setting them up as suppliants on the altar of Hera; but the Corinthians removed them and wounded them to death. They are also said to have been stoned to death by the Corinthians owing to the gifts which legend says they brought to Glauce.
Pheres' son is also called Mermerus.
