Castle of Maidens

A castle founded by King Ebraucus, a contemporary of the biblical King David, located on Mount Agned or Mont Dolores. It is mentioned in Historia Regum Brittaniae. In the Second Continuation, one of the maidens explains to Percival that the castle was built by four maidens and appears deserted to wandering knights. She further tells him that if a knight strikes the table in the castle, food will magically appear.

When Percival awakes the next day, the castle has vanished.
