Cetea

Greek sea-monsters, depicted as giant serpentine fish. The two greatest Cetea were the Ethiopian Cetus and the Trojan Cetus. The first was sent by Poseidon to devour princess Andromeda. The hero Perseus saved her and he killed the creature. The second was also sent by Poseidon, but its purpose was to terrorize Troy. The Trojans chained princess Hesione to the rocks as sacrifice, but when Heracles saw her, he slew the creature and freed the princess.
