Gastropnir

"Guest-crusher." The rich hall in which the maiden Menglöð awaits the arrival of Svipdagr. It was built by Fjölsviðr from the limbs of Leirbrimir, and braced so strongly that it shall stand fast as long as the world shall last.

"Leirbrimir's limbs" is a poetic circumlocution for "clay" (Leirbrimir means "Clay-giant").
