Hemithea

"Half-goddess." The deified name of Molpadia, a princess of the island of Naxos, and sister of Parthenos. To escape the wrath of their father Staphylus, Molpadia and Parthenos jumped into the sea where they were rescued by Apollo and — through apotheosis — made into goddesses.

Hemithea was venerated at Castabus in Caria.
