Iseult aux Blanches Mains
Isolde of the White Hands, also Isolde of the Fair Hands. She becomes Tristan's wife because she shares his beloved's name. Their marriage remains unconsumated and he confesses that this is because of his love for another woman. As he is awaiting the arrival of Iseult, his wife causes his death by informing that Iseult is not aboard the approaching ship.
