Sindri
The eddic poem Völuspá mentions a golden hall on Niðavöllum for Sindri's race. Snorri Sturluson says that the hall, which stands in Niðafjöll and which is made of red gold, is named Sindri. In this hall, as in the hall Brimir, shall dwell good men and pure in heart after Ragnarök.
The name is also found as that of a dwarf, the brother of Brokkr.
