Chariclo

The daughter of Apollo. She was the wife of Chiron, the wise centaur, and by him the mother of Carystus and Ocyrrhoe. She lived with Chiron in a cave on Mount Pelion and became the foster mother of several famous heroes, among whom Achilles and Peleus. She is also mentioned as the daughter of Perses or Oceanus.
