Peredur
The Celtic model for the later Percival. He is the seventh son of Efrawc. In the earliest Peredur tale he simply sets out to avenge the slaying of a kinsman, although elements of a magical treasure are already included.
The medieval Welsh tale Peredur, son of Efrawg is included in the Mabinogion.
