Lynette

In Malory's "Tale of Sir Gareth or Orkney," Lynette comes to Arthur's court in search of a champion to rescue her sister, Lyones. The quest is claimed by Gareth, which outrages Lynette for she considers him no more than a kitchen knave, but his patience and valor gradually win over. Lynette eventually marries his brother Gaheris.
